In English; Basics is foundation support of life. Imagine a baby wanted to learn how to stand and sit he/she needs support from parents or things. After he learned it he goes beyond to walking, jumping, running, then climbing, swimming and do other extraordinary things.

Note: I usually use English as a saying equivalent to "simplest term"
