Introduction - What is Critical Thinking?
Introduction
What is Critical Thinking?
It is simply based on the common understanding of all that we can
agree with.
It helps us improve our decision-making, greater understanding,
and judgment with optimal results.
Have you ever read the book “Critical Thinking 9th
Edition” by Moore and Parker?
If not, I highly recommend that all colleges and universities have
this subject included. It is not necessarily mean you need to buy the same book
that I introduce here. But the principle in it.
I think it is the best book because it most like read and thought.
Why did I know that?
·
The book is at 9th edition
2009. Meaning it is continuously improving.
To think critically and logically because our words and action may
send a different signal of interpretation to other.
We have to be specific. We have to make it as simple as possible.
How can we send what we really wanted to say?
Critical thinking teaches us to know our limitations. The value of
teamwork and collaboration. The way we think in our daily life and choosing
what action we wanted to make.
I am still currently improving so please bear with me. My
knowledge as of now is base on what I have read and understood on people.
A book is a record of research made by a person or an
organization, to transfer knowledge infinitely as long as you have a copy. May
serve as a reference or a guide to use and improve our understanding.
A school is home to education, where people gather to learn,
teach and share their ideas. It is the very foundation of economic growth.
Wherein our individual and combined knowledge are transformed into ideas, which
create invention and innovation of a system or a product which will help solve
our daily life problem and improve our living.
In brief our economy.
As an engineer, we have to solve the problem permanently. Thinking
of a long-term base, instead of short-term a temporary patch or plaster.
It is simply because in the long-run. Unethical practices will
cost us more. Compared to accounting all the necessarily mean.
Critical Thinking improves our decision-making, management, and
viewpoint on how we should see things.
I recommend this as an essential course unit to take in every school
of a country. It will improve the way we see things and be in a common goal.
I
will be using as a guide the Critical Thinking 9th Edition by Moore
and Parker and I very much hope there will be some people who will catch the
interest and have an opinion about it.
I will be using some examples in our country’s education system, media, government, church, and people. This is a learning ground. There no hatred. But we have to understand everyone, everything, and how they tick.
